A look back on a DAM great year of events pt. 3

DAM sponsorship

Some things go hand in hand – Tom and Jerry, Thelma and Louise, salt and pepper. And it’s the same with DAM and the hospitality industry.

Having provided employee benefits packages to the hospitality industry for over a decade, this has provided us with the chance to develop a thorough understanding of the wonderful workings of the industry: how it operates, the trends it experiences and even the challenges it faces.

It’s what’s allowed us the chance to develop our position as leading employee benefits and rewards advisors to the industry, working with a range of prestigious hotel companies to provide specialised employee benefits packages: The Dorchester Collection, Malmaison, Radisson Hotel Group, Four Seasons … to name but a few.

In fact, in many ways we now feel part of the industry itself. And whilst our heart may lie with finance, there’s no denying we’ve developed a soft spot for hospitality over the years. It’s why we do all that we can to support the industry: sponsoring awards, and attending events regularly throughout the years. And this year has been no different.

As well as multiple conferences, and dinners across Glasgow, London and Manchester, DAM have also been very fortunate to be able to sponsor a number of fantastic awards throughout the year. Just recently for example, DAM sponsored the Leadership and Development Award at the HRH Awards, with our very own Alex Keddie presenting the award on the night.  Having also sponsored the Catey Awards, our CEO & Founder Russell Davidson presented the award for the winner of the HR Team of the Year at the Hotel Caterer Event in London in November.

With Manchester being one of our main growth areas this year, we were also fortunate enough to sponsor the Manchester Hoteliers Association, with Russell also presenting the award for 'Outstanding Contribution to the Hospitality Industry' at their recent event.

We look forward to continuing to support the industry and its leading talent in 2020.
