DAM Is Proud To Sponsor A ‘Recipe For Success’

 HIT Scholars

The Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland held its Emerging Talent Conference at Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms last Thursday. DAM is proud to be sponsoring two of the 2015 scholarships.

170 scholarships were handed out at HIT Scotland’s event last week in Edinburgh, continuing the charity’s objective of helping develop the emerging hospitality talent across the country.

The theme of the day was a ‘Recipe of Success’ and the sell-out conference of 400 professionals from across hospitality enjoyed a range of fantastic seminars and speakers, covering everything from Michelin standards to the future of technology.

DAM was there as well and we were proud to sponsor two of the day’s scholarship winners. Lorna Jackson, HR & People Development Manager at Auchrannie Resort will be going over to the US to complete the Disney Scholarship, learning leadership skills with some of the best future leaders in the world.

Antonia Harrow, Assistant Finance Manager of Crieff Hydro, was also presented with a DAM-sponsored scholarship. She will be heading in the opposite direction to Lausanne’s world-class hospitality and tourism school with several other scholarship winners.

It’s a very exciting time for both Lorna and Antonia as well as the other 168 winners and we wish them all the best of luck on their upcoming scholarship adventures!
