Very often in business, bigger is better. Sometimes, however, smaller can deliver the best value for money and when it comes to selecting an employee benefits adviser, we think that our smaller team’s offering is better value than that provided by the employee benefits giants of this world.

Employers want the "personal"
When we ask the employers we work with what they want from their company’s employee benefits, we hear time and again that the main goal of employee benefits is to build a personal relationship with their staff and to make them feel valued.
At Davidson Asset Management we really take that “personal” part seriously. It’s not just a little word we like to put on our logo simply because it sounds nice. No, we actually back that up by going out and meeting our clients’ staff face-to-face to explain their employee benefits and corporate pensions offerings to them.
That’s something a larger benefits adviser simply wouldn’t do.
By having a small team at DAM we are able to genuinely build a relationship with our clients and we remember their specific needs and interests. Again, larger advisers simply wouldn’t be able to develop that “personal” part of an employer-adviser relationship.
But does smaller provide the same value?
We know that as a smaller business, the only way we can succeed is by being efficient. As a small firm, we don’t have the resources to cover errors or poor case management which is why we’ve built an amazingly efficient model of providing employee benefits advice.
And the best thing about our model here at DAM? We can offer more efficient and reliable employee benefits provision at a more affordable cost than that charged by the largest advisers.
Now that’s a case of smaller being better!
