Don't we make a DAM good team?
On Friday afternoon, our team here at DAM switched our spreadsheets for sangria and headed to Tennent’s Factory for our team day out.
Having expanded rather extensively over the past year or so, we want to make sure that our close-knit culture remains the same – it’s what’s allowed us to provide our highly personalised services to our clients over the years.
As they say ‘team work makes the dream work’.
So, what better way to spend some well-deserved time together than to roll up our sleeves and get cooking!
Working in pairs, we spent the afternoon preparing a range of Spanish tapas dishes – from spicy meatballs to Spanish omelette, which we were then able to share with one another. I was fondly surprised of how many dishes were not only edible but actually rather delicious (well, apart from the rather questionable prawns that Russell and David made for us all).
And after that, we got behind the bar to make our very own cocktails. Whilst it’s safe to stay that some of us were definitely not bar tenders in a previous life, the cocktail shaking provided some good entertainment for all.
Minus the sore heads on Saturday morning, the day was definitely a huge success and great way for us to spend some time together and catch-up outside of the office.
I already look forward to our next team day out – well as long as the next ones alcohol-free…
