We each have our own area of expertise and we believe (and have been told) that we do what we do really, really well. We work with businesses all over the UK and abroad to deliver our range of employee benefits and financial advisory services and we've kept (and grown) our client base over the last decade.

DAM was established by our Managing Director, Russell Davidson in Glasgow in 2003 and has steadily grown to become one of the UK’s most trusted employee benefits and financial advisory firms. In the last ten years, we have developed a position as the leading employee benefits and rewards advisors to the hospitality and leisure industry (but also have lots and lots of clients in other sectors as well as our ever-growing list of private clients).

We have an in-depth knowledge of the leisure industry, trends and the issues which affect employers, employees and the reputation and future growth of these sectors. We operate, and are seen as a natural extension to each client’s HR facility, providing trusted advice and support, taking care of pension and employee reward schemes so that businesses can do what they do best.

We are just as happy working with directly with the CEO or discussing retirement with the kitchen porter. It's this inclusive ethos that has propelled DAM's growth and  it's an attitude we hope to build on for years to come as we continue to grow.

Jacqui is DAM’s mortgage consultant and joined the business back in 2005, having previously worked for RBS for over 20 years years in both Branch and Mortgage Centre capacities. As a fully qualified specialist in the mortgage industry, Jacqui helps clients assess their options and find the perfect mortgage. Guiding both private and corporate clients through every step of the  housebuying/remortgaging process, Jacqui's expertise helps to ensure that each and every client is provided with the help and advice they need to meet their individual circumstances.

Her clients are always giving her glowing reviews and remain thankful for her help with what is, for most people, the biggest financial decision of their lives whilst the on-site advisory days that Jacqui runs for corporate clients remain extremey popular with staff.

Lorraine has been a member of the DAM team since 2005, having previously gained experience in employee benefits while working for a number of large national employee benefit consultancies. Lorraine has also recently passed the auto enrolment exam, enabling her to help DAM’s corporate clients in complying with auto enrolment over the past couple of years. Lorraine is responsible for the administration of all DAM’s corporate clients’ group insurance and pension schemes and liaises with the Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits, and Financial teams within the client companies to make sure all employee data is correct, quotations requested, invoices issued, relevant cover arranged with insurers and providers and that dedicated websites are maintained.

Lorraine leads the DAM administration team and also brings her employee benefits expertise to the client meetings which she regularly attends.

The founding member of DAM, Russell specialises in the design and implementation of employee benefits for corporate clients. Russell meets with directors from all DAM’s clients on a regular quarterly basis to make sure DAM is delivering the best service possible. Russell also manages all new enquiries, ensuring the solution offered is perfectly suited to the client’s expectations and not simply a generic one. He gets to know how each client works and what employee benefit package would work best for them- we could go on and on to tell you about his expertise, or you could simply take a look for yourself at our client case study results.

An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance, Russell also has various specialised pension qualifications.

Rhona is one one of our most recent recruits having joined DAM in May 2016.  Rhona has worked in the financial services industry since 1985 with both Life Office and IFAs dealing with a portfolio of key corporate clients.  She has experience of Group Personal Pension and Group Risk business.  She provides a valuable administrator service to support her clients with the day-to-day administration of their pension schemes.  Outside of work she likes to travel to sunny destinations and enjoys city breaks.

Lesley is one of DAM’s more recent recruits, having joined in 2012, but she has already established herself as an expert in the office and handles the pension administration side of the business. Lesley has been in the financial services industry since 1989, working with both Life Office and National IFA and she has achieved the Certificate in Financial Administration (both life and pensions) as well as the Certificate in Financial Services.With her years of experience in the pensions industry, every pension-related query that comes in is handled with the care and consideration that Lesley puts into all aspects of her work.

Jordan joined DAM in 2017, having previously worked with Barclays Stockbrokers. He has recently completed his Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and also has a BA (hons) in Economics and Human Resource Management from Strathclyde University.
 
As one of our new advisers, Jordan will be supporting the implementation and ongoing services for our corporate clients as well as providing bespoke financial plans for our DAM wealth management clients.

Graeme joined DAM in 2017 and has worked in the Financial Services industry since 2015 dealing primarily with the employee benefits of corporate clients at a National IFA. 
 
In 2014 Graeme gained a BA (hons) in Politics with History at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Alastair joined DAM in 2007 after graduating in Mathematics just around the corner at the University of Glasgow. After working initially within the administration team, Alastair achieved the Diploma in Financial Services and, as a result of the continued expansion of the firm, and now works within the consultancy side of the business. He is responsible for the implementation and ongoing servicing of clients in Scotland, the North and Ireland.

From group presentations to individual benefit meetings, Alastair works closely with DAM’s clients to ensure that their benefit packages are utilised and communicated effectively.

Amanda joined DAM in 2015, having previously spent many years working in financial services.  She has a Diploma in Insurance from  The Chartered Insurance Institute and a BA (hons) in Economics from University of Strathclyde. All Group Risk benefits are safe in her hands.

Amanda is a member of Historic Scotland, and when not looking after employee benefits, she can be found exploring the ruined castles of Scotland.  She is also a keen runner, and spends her spare time training for her next marathon.

Louise joined DAM in 2016 and has worked in the Financial Services industry since 1999 for both Life Office and National IFA, dealing primarily with corporate clients. 

In 1991 Louise gained a BA (hons) in Business and Management from the University of Paisley and following from this worked in the graduate training programme with Scottish Amicable where she achieved The Financial Planning Certificate and more recently passed the Group Risk exam GR1. 

 

Louise deals with all aspects of administrative work and strives to provide a valuable service for all of our clients.

Steve spends much of his time working with DAM's clients and introducers in Scotland and Northern Ireland. With 30 years’ experience in a range of financial services roles across Scotland, he is dedicated to providing clients with a trusted and professional service to help them address their employee benefits challenges. Based in Edinburgh, Steve deals with businesses of all sizes and in every sector of industry.  

Steve is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and continues to study for additional industry qualifications, as well as a BA in History through the Open University.

Alex joined the team in 2012 and is located in DAM’s London office. Having worked within financial services for over 20 years, Alex brings a wealth of experience to his role and takes a pro-active approach to account management with existing clientele as he engages staff with their benefits through employee one-to-one meetings and staff group presentations. Alex’s past experience incorporates group risk, pensions, flexible and international benefits, all of which make him a knowledgeable consultant to our clients.

In addition to account management, Alex’s position in London sees him regularly network with those in the industry based in the capital.
