5 Highlights From A DAM Good 2014
2014 has been a year to remember, especially here at DAM. We’ve had a great 12 months and just wanted to share 5 of the things that have made it so.
It’s been another DAM good year here at Davidson Asset Management. Here are 5 reasons why…
1. An exciting new look
I’m sure you’ve spotted our new look which we introduced in September of this year after a summer of working with top Glasgow design agency 999 to come up with the perfect makeover for Davidson Asset Management after a decade with our old branding.
We went for a red and white look and changed our website address to www.damgoodpensions.com, a move we and our clients were excited for since our website now does exactly what it says on the tin since our daily goal is to administer amazingly effective corporate pension schemes for our clients.
2. The arrival of our employee benefits blog
Along with our new website came the arrival of our employee benefits blog and since September we have been bringing you, our wonderful readers, the latest news from the employee benefits and corporate pensions world.
We try to keep you up-to-date with the latest goings on and with so many reforms to the UK pension system there is plenty that we want to make sure you’re aware of and with the arrival of our blog we’ve been able to do that. And with even more changes expected in 2015, we’ve got plenty more to discuss in the months ahead – for example, the DWP’s pension charges cap is set to be a major topic of discussion and one which we’ll be keeping HR managers aware of.
We’ve also been able to interview some fascinating guests from the HR and pensions worlds and will be bringing even more interviews in 2015.
3. Successful auto enrolment compliance
Automatic enrolment has been one of the pension reforms already introduced and since 2012 we’ve been working with companies to give our auto enrolment advice and help them to comply. 2014 was no different and we’re proud to say that we’ve been able to help a number of our clients (both old and new) to stage successfully – we even got praise form The Pensions Regulator for the way we handled one specific case!
4. More growth to our team
We’ve always prided ouselves on our strong team here at DAM and we were pleased to see that team grow this year with the arrival of a marketing intern Euan in the summer from the University of Glasgow who has since stayed on with us. The rest of Team DAM is still here too and we’re glad to be able to send the same friendly and familiar faces out to our clients’ premises to meet their staff and help them with their employee benefits choices.
5. Some new exciting clients
At DAM, we are always growing and we’ve therefore been very pleased to meet some new and exciting clients in 2014. As the employee benefits experts in the hospitality industry, it’s always exciting when we get to work with new hospitality companies and that’s exactly what’s happened for us in 2014.
We hope that in 2015 we can bring our employee benefits consultancy expertise to even more clients and continue to help employers provide their staff with rewarding employee benefits.
