Another DAM Good Shot – This Time HITting The Back Of The Net!
Last time out we were swinging clubs at golf balls; this time we were swinging (or trying to!) legs at footballs on the hallowed turf of McDiarmid Park. One thing which didn’t change was the cause: the HIT Scotland charity.
The Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland does great work for the Scottish hospitality sector and provides scholarships for up-and-coming hospitality talent, this year offering a massive 170 of them. In order to fund these vital learning experiences for the hospitality talent of tomorrow, a massive amount of fundraising is required and DAM was proud to sponsor – and have pensions consultant Alastair Pickard take part in - last weekend’s charity football match along with co-sponsor Cintas Clothing.
Held at Scottish Premiership side Saint Johnstone’s McDiarmid Park in Perthshire and supervised by ex-top flight referee John Rowbotham, two HIT Scotland teams took to the field: The East and The West.
It was our West side that won in the end by a 9-1 scoreline thanks to a late flurry of goals, but the East will certainly be looking for revenge in our re-match scheduled in Glasgow in the near future.
Did you know? At DAM we are running a survey which could win you a weekend away!
By taking 5 minutes to complete our survey on the future of employee benefits you'll be entered into a prize draw to win a weekend's stay at one of Malmaison's 13 UK locations.
