Talk Money Week 9-13th November 2020
This year, Money and Pensions advice are hosting Talk Money Week with the goal of turning talking about money from one of the UK's least favourite topics into something commonplace.
For the majority of us, money is emotional. It's the roof over our head, the food on our table and the clothes that we wear.
That's why, talking openly about money is vitally important for our health, wealth and relationships.
Building money conversations into our everyday lives also helps us improve financial wellbeing, providing confidence and resilience to face whatever the future throws at us, with the ongoing effects of Covid-19 highlighting the importance of opening up conversations about money now more than ever.
That's why DAM have chosen to participate, with the aim of leading the conversation and helping to remove the stigma around the conversation of money - to encourage others to feel confident and at ease talking about matters that we often shy away from due to embarrassment or confusion.
Indeed, with over 15 years' experience in the industry, we know just how mind-boggling the world of finance can seem. Loaded with technical concepts and complicated terminology the financial industry is renowned for its over-use of jargon, which can be pretty off-putting for many. But we want that to change.
Join DAM this week as we explore the popular financial product, the ISA. From cash and stocks & shares to Lifetime and Junior ISAs, it is our goal to provide key information and factors to help open up the discussion and get people talking.
